Applications

Used control and power applications in chemical plants, steel mills, industrial plants, utility substations and generating stations, residential and commercial buildings. Suitable aerial, duct or direct burial.

Specifications
● CONDUCTOR: Class B stranded bare copper per ASTM B-3 and B-8.

● INSULATION: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), nylon armored per UL 83 Type THHN/THWN.

● COLOR CODE: Conductors are color coded per ICEA Method 4 (Printed numbers).

● ASSEMBLY: Insulated conductors are cabled together with fillers as necessary to make round.

●OVERALL JACKET: Sunlight-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) per UL 1277.

● STANDARDS: Tested per UL requirements Type TC cables having THWN or THHN conductors. Cables are listed direct burial and meet the IEEE 383, UL 1277 and 70,000 BTU/hr flame tests.

● AMPACITY: Based on not more than three coductors in raceway or cable or earth per NEC 310-6 with a conductor temperature of 90°C and an ambient temperature of 30°C. All 4-conductor values have been derated per the NEC.

● TEMPERATURE: 90°C

● VOLTAGE: 600 Volts
